Website Support - Website Design

Nuts & Bolts

wisdomAbout three years ago we started doing some website design using a Content Management System (CMS), which allows our clients to take over a lot of the site maintenance and updates.
One client in particular has really risen to the challenge and the results are awesome!
Click on the screen shot here on the left to see what a Mambo CMS website looks like in action. You'll be amazed at the utilities included in it, such as the online Calendar, Message Boards, etc.
The beauty of this system is that the site content, navigation, and design are separate elements, and changing the site template instantly changes the whole look and feel of your website.
Now we have experience with WordPress, Mambo, Joomla and Drupal!
lisa_marieWe can provide training for you or your staff to take over your website management and updates, too!
Our newest CMS site (in Joomla) is available for your viewing by clicking on the image on the left...
There's a lot happening 'out there' in the world of website design and creation, and we're in a position to set up your site, or to help you to set one up, and then to grow with you as your business or endeavour thrives.

For each site that we've done, you'll notice that we've used a fair amount of customization - in appearance and utility.
Some of the elements and utilities we've used for our clients include:
  • Flash, or random images on a "splash screen"
  • Windows with slideshows in them
  • Interactive online forms, including secure forms
  • Interactive portable document format (PDF) files
  • "Hover over" tips or images
  • Online videos
  • Extensive use of good quality photos
  • External links opening up in new windows
  • Access counters and site statistics
  • Javascript applets (E.g. animations and picture fades )
