Notices to Members
2007
- NOTICE: As passed by motion at the last AGM, APSHA finalized its day-to-day operations as of December 31st, 2006 and has now ceased its operations.
2006
- NOTICE: By way of motion passed at the AGM on Wed. Nov. 22, 2006, our offices will close effective Dec. 31st, 2006 and the society will be dissolved as of May 31st, 2007.
- Fall Newsletter
- Our Fall Newsletter for 2006 was mailed by the first week of November. Once again it combined a notice of AGM with a notice of any outstanding membership fees. In it, we advised our members that our case would not be heard by the Supreme Court of Canada.
- Spring Newsletter
- Our Spring Newsletter for 2006 was mailed the third week in June. It was combined with a notice of any outstanding membership fees. In it, we gave the rationale for seeking leave to have our case heard by the Supreme Court of Canada.
2005
- Fall Newsletter
- Our Fall Newsletter for 2005 was sent out early in November. It was again combined with a notice of any outstanding membership fees. In it, we advised our members of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) date of November 24th, 2005.
- Spring Newsletter
- Our Spring Newsletter for 2005 hit the mail in late May. It was combined with a notice of any outstanding membership fees.
2004
- Fall Newsletter
- Our Fall Newsletter for 2004 should have been received late in October. In it, we advised our members of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) date of November 25th.
- Spring Newsletter
- Our Spring Newsletter for 2004 hit the mail in late May/early June. It was combined with a notice of any outstanding membership fees.
Annual Membership Fees
- The $25 annual membership fee is due by the end of May each year. If you have missed that deadline, please submit it as soon as possible!
Receipts - If you need a receipt (other than your processed cheque back from the bank), just let us know, and we'll get one out to you eventually. There are a number of reasons why that may take some time!

- Fall Newsletter
- Our Fall Newsletter for 2003 should be received before Oct. 10th. In it, we advise our members of the Annual General Meeting date of October 23rd, 2003.
- Summer Newsletter
- Our Summer Newsletter for 2003 hit the mail in June. It was combined with a letter from Parlee McLaws, our law firm. Members were apprised of the status of the legal case, and advised of any outstanding membership fees.
Annual Membership Fees

- Our Fall Newsletter for 2002 hit the mail in September. In the Newsletter we advised our members of the Annual General Meeting date of October 17, 2002.
- Spring Newsletter
- Our Newsletter for the Spring of 2002 hit the mail on May 17th. In the Newsletter we provided our members with an update on the legal action against the Province of Alberta.
- Annual Membership Fees
- The $25 annual membership fee is due by the end of May each year. If you have missed that deadline, please submit it as soon as possible!
- Your Membership Number
- If you get your cheques back from the bank, look on the back side of the cheque for our stamp (APSHA), and your membership number. If you do not get your cheques back from the bank, you can phone us for your membership number. (Use the numbers listed on our "Contact Info" page.)
- When you receive our mailouts, you will notice your membership number has been included on the address label.

- Our second last Newsletter was sent out in October of 2001. In that Newsletter we advised you of our Annual General Meeting.
2000 / 1999
(We will not be posting Newsletters or correspondence to our members on this website. Our legal counsel has advised against this for various reasons.)
